It is with great sadness that the Ministry Of Defence must announce that a soldier from the 3rd Battalion, The Rifles (3RIFLES) was killed on the morning of Tuesday 2nd March, 2010 as a result of small arms fire near Sangin in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
