Nigel many thanks for your comment, I also heard the news early this morning - I went to Wootton Bassett last week and that is still upermost in my mind. I await information from the MOD, I will then try and create something appropriate - in the mean time our thoughts go out to all the families at the tragic time. Will will remember them.

It was with disbieilf that I saw on the morning news today the report of the tragic loss to the Corps of another Two Military Policemen. I once again offer mine and my families condolences to families and friends of these fine policemen. May they rest in peace. We will remember them.

Nigel, many thanks for your kind comments, which with others from the RAFPA are posted for all to see. I attended the Wootten Bassett Repatriation yesterday with other Branch members. A great tribute which will remain with us always. Thank you : Regards David Prince.

As a former RAF Police NCO I would like to add my condolances to the family, friends and colleagues of Cpl James Oakland RMP. Another brother in arms lost , but will never to be forgotten.
